Smithsonian Learning Lab

The Smithsonian Learning Lab is a great tool for inspiring discovery and creative use of the Smithsonian's rich digital materials, including images, recordings, and texts. Users can create and share their own collections of those materials, and personalize those collections by adding annotations, creating lessons, or building upon the collections by adding original content.

The Learning Lab was created to encourage learners of all ages to make discoveries across disciplines, create new ideas, share knowledge and creations with a global community of experts and peers, access vast collections in history, science, art, and culture, and build lasting educational networks" (learninglab.si.edu).
