2014 Marathon Essay Competition

The Alpha Omega Council, in association with the Consulate of Greece in Boston, the 26.2 Foundation, the Hopkinton Public School District, and the Desire to Inspire initiative presents the 2014 Marathon Essay Competition.

ALL High School students are invited to write an essay on the Marathon on the following topic (750 - 1,000 words, typed):

“How does the Battle of Marathon relate to modern day concepts of democracy, citizenship, and freedom?”

Entry Deadline: Sunday, April 6, 2014
