In celebration of
Women's History Month, the
Boston Public Library's special collections department organized an
exhibit of books and manuscripts illustrating the public and private lives of esteemed writers such as Emily Dickinson, Louisa May Alcott, and Julia Ward Howe, as well as lesser-known authors such as Hannah Adams, Hannah Webster Foster, and Annie Fields. The
exhibit is open to the general public and will be on display through May 30th (M - F, 9:00am - 5:00pm), in the Rare Books Lobby, located on the third floor of the McKim Building.
