March 2nd is Read Across America Day!

Monday, March 2nd is Read Across America Day! Read Across America Day is a National Education Association sponsored event which focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources. This year's book is the Seuss classic, Oh the Places You'll Go!

March 2nd is also Dr. Seuss's birthday! Read more about him here. And don't forget to check out the Seussville website for kid and family friendly activities, projects, and events related to Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Day.

And...to help us celebrate Dr. Seuss week, the HHS Library will also be screening the movie The Lorax after school in the library. Relive a childhood favorite! All are welcome!

You are never too old to read and enjoy Dr. Seuss!
